511 is a free phone and Web service that consolidates Bay Area transportation information into a one-stop resource. 511 provides up-to-the-minute information on traffic conditions, incidents and driving times, schedule, route and fare information for the Bay Area’s public transportation services, instant carpool and vanpool referrals, bicycling information and more. It’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  BART  — This rapid transit system, stretching from San Francisco to Concord, from Richmond to Fremont, and soon through Hayward into the Amador and Livermore Valleys, is the preeminent regional mass transit system in the San Francisco Bay Area. This site contains schedules, fare information, and so on. For those of you with Java-capable browsers, there is an animated BART map tracing out the daily commute.   FasTrak – Keep moving with FasTrak the quick and convenient way to pay tolls on Bay Area bridges.
